Gardaí have seized drugs worth half-a-million Euro in Dublin.

Two people were arrested after the drugs were found at a house in Drimnagh late last night.

Investigators said the seizure was the result of an intelligence-led operation targeting an organised crime group based in the Dublin suburb.

The seizure included quantities of heroin, cannabis herb, cannabis resin and cocaine.

A 37-year-old man and 55-year-old woman were arrested during the operation.

Both are detained at Crumlin Garda Station where they can be held for up to seven days.

The Garda investigation is ongoing.
