Rev Nick Park of the Evangelical Alliance Ireland wants people to be slower to take offence
'I don't agree with you on the refugee crisis, George, but I'm not going to stop a discussion about it by being offended by it.'
And that sums up Rev Nick Park's stance on the issue of taking offence.
He believes we live in a time where people ‘manufacture offence’, and when that happens, any meaningful debate on big issues gets very difficult. If everyone is desperate to be poltically correct, then it’s going to stifle debate.
