A demonstration demanding secure passage routes for migrants fleeing civil war will take place in Dublin today.
The Ireland Refugee Solidarity Group organised the rally and is calling on the government to increase legal and safe channels for all those fleeing conflict in countries like Syria.
The demonstration will take place on the Ha'penny Bridge at 3pm.
Sandra Byrne from the group says that the Irish Government hasn't done enough for the countless numbers of people stranded across Europe.
She says the EU response has been "derisory", and despite the pledge taken by the Irish Government, only 10 refugees have so far relocated to Ireland.
The group is also calling for an end to the current direct provision system.
