A criminal investigation has started in the UK after a battery was found inside a chocolate Easter bunny in Nottingham.
The Co-op retailer has issued a recall in Britain following the discovery of the small battery.
The UK's National Crime Agency and police are assisting with the investigation, the retailer says.
A similar case of alleged tampering happened with chocolate Santas at Christmas, which also led to a recall.
In a statement on the current recall, the UK Food Standards Authority said: "The presence of a small battery makes this product unsafe to eat and presents a risk to health."
An estimated 3,000 of the German-manufactured bunnies have been sold, The Guardian reports.
