Appeal for information following alleged assault in Temple Bar in Dublin

Gardaí in Dublin are appealing for witnesses after an alleged assault in Temple Bar earlier this week.

The incident happened on Fleet Street at around 2am on Monday, January 7th.

A man in his 30s suffered injuries to his face and head.

He was treated at St James's Hospital, and has since been released.

A man in his 30s was arrested near the scene, and he has since appeared before the courts charged in connection to the incident.

Gardaí are now looking to speak to anyone who was in the Fleet Street / Temple Bar area on the night of Sunday January 6th or the early hours of Monday January 7th.
