Authorities have discovered 14 people hiding in the back of a truck at Rosslare Port in Wexford.

The refrigerated vehicle came in on a ship from Cherbourg in France today.

The 12 men and two women were discovered by Garda Immigration Officers after the Irish Ferries Oscar Wilde ferry docked around 2pm today.

All 14 are said to be in good health and are currently being assessed by the Garda Immigration Unit. It's expected that the people found will all be referred to the refugee application process.
