'A Catholic education is entirely compatible for other communites'

Former UK Education Secretary Ruth Kelly joined George in studio to give her take on how faith schools can have a role in a diverse society

'Faith schools most definitely have a place in any pluralist society, and a Catholic education is entirely compatible to other communities'

That was the view of former UK Education Secretary Ruth Kelly, who was in Dublin at the National Education Conference to discuss the future of faith schools in a diverse society.

A practicing Roman Catholic herself, Ms Kelly had no problem with the idea of faith schools having a prominent role in the life of any community, admitting that in the UK, everyone wants to be part of a faith school because their pupils do so well.

George also discuss some Brexit, as well as the evolving role of women in the House of Commons.
