A 55 year old man will appear in court in the morning charged in connection with an aggravated burglary at a house in County Dublin.

The incident occurred in Dardistown last Friday evening when a woman returned to her home and was threatened by a man with a knife.

The woman fled the scene and got into her car, but the man threatened her again and left the scene in her car.

Last night Gardaí arrested a man in the Ballybough area.

He's being held Ballymun Garda Station and will appear at the Criminal Courts of Justice tomorrow morning.
