A man has died after the car he was driving crashed into a wall in County Laois.
The 22-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to the Midland Regional Hospital in Portlaoise.
The collision occurred at around 3:50am this morning at Kilmullen in Portarlington.
The road has been closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.

Motorists are being urged to take extra care today and reminded that they may be over the legal limit this morning if they were drinking last night.
The gardaí will be out in force today in an effort to prevent any further fatalities.
