Over 100 civilians have been injured in clashes with police in the Kashmir region of India as the 58th consecutive day of curfews, restrictions and shutdowns continued.
Police fired tear gas and shotgun pellets to quell thousands of protesters who attacked a government office.
The unrest is over separatist groups challenging India's sovereignty over the region. A rebel commander was killed in July which has sparked protests across the disputed region.
Local station KNS, is reporting civilian arrests across the area as pro-freedom rallies gather momentum.
