The streaming giant debuted new trailers for 'Luke Cage', 'Iron Fist', and 'The Defenders'
With this weekend’s bringing movie geeks and TV anoraks of every kind out in force for San Diego Comic Con, you can expect your social media timelines to be filled with many trailers and photos over the days to come. And Netflix has made an early grab for headlines, revealing footage from its forthcoming Marvel shows Luke Cage, Iron Fist and The Defenders.
The highlight of the Luke Cage panel was the long-overdue release of a fuller teaser trailer to the one that was tucked into the Jessica Jones season finale last November. That trailer was followed by the first Iron Fist teaser, starring Game of Thrones Finn Jones as a martial arts expert, and the biggest teaser of them all for The Defenders – the show that will do for each of Netflix’s original superhero dramas (the aforementioned and Daredevil and Jessica Jones) what The Avengers did for its cinematic counterparts.
Beyond the footage, the panel also revealed that Daredevil will definitely be returning for a third season and that all 13 episodes of Luke Cage will drop on September 30th.
