Cocktails on the Tom Dunne Show: Tokyo Margarita

Oisin returns from distant lands with a brand new cocktail recipe...

Tonight, Oisin joins Tom in studio with another excellent margarita recipe. This one he's brought back from his world travels, and it looks spectacular.

Oisin Says: So I just got back from Tokyo where I had the great honour of judging the final of the Jameson Bartender's Ball. The quality of the drinks and the passion of the bartenders was off the charts! The theme was Classic with a local twist so I had a great opportunity to taste lots of Japanese ingredients and flavours. And I brought a few back with me for week 3 of #MargaritaMay! Sláinte or as they would say in Japan, Kampai! 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 50 ml Patron Silver 
  • 15 ml Japanese plum liqueur infused with Japanese orange
  • 15 ml Yuzu juice 

METHOD: 

Chill a martini glass with ice. Place all ingredients into an iced shaker, seal it and shake hard for 10 seconds. Remove ice from the glass and strain the cocktail.
