Kanye West chatting to Ellen is getting compared to Tom Cruise jumping on Oprah's couch

The hip hop star was certainly ... interesting to watch be interviewed

“I'm sorry daytime television. I'm sorry for the realness."

Kanye, Kanye, Kanye... What is there left to really say about Mister West at this point? Quite a bit, it seems.

In what seems like what was initially an opportunity to potentially ground Kanye West into some kind of relatable moment, or if not relatable, then at least based in some kind of realism.

And while, for a few minutes - seconds, maybe? - at the beginning, it seems to be going vaguely okay, before Kanye breaks off into a very Kanye-esque rant about, well, how great Kanye West is.

“I have ideas that can make the human race existence within our 100 years better, period.”

Comparisons to Pablo Picasso, Michael Jackson and Steve Jobs are made about himself by himself, before he gets very awkward talking about his own children (that segment can be viewed here), and then he and Ellen play a 5-Second Game (which you can watch here) and he fails to understand the basic concept of the game.
