Adele announced as final headliner for this year's Glastonbury festival

She'll join Muse and Coldplay on the Pyramid Stage over the weekend

Adele announced live on stage this evening during her gig in the O2 Arena in London that she will be headlining the Glastonbury festival later this year.

She will be joining the already announced Muse and Coldplay, who will take to the Pyramid Stage on the Friday and Sunday nights, respectively, with Adele performing on the Saturday night.

The festival takes place from June 22nd to 26th, which Adele had previously stated she would never perform at, claiming the crowds there to be intimidatingly too large, telling Capitol London's Breakfast show: "I think I have made myself pretty clear on Glastonbury. The crowds are too big – I don't know if I could do it."
