The Silence Of The Lambs turned 25 years old on Valentine's Day, and we recently had a look back over it's long lasting effects on cinema since then.

Joining in on the anniversary celebrations was W Magazine, who roped in a series of actresses to read the famous Hannibal Lector monologue.

Kristen Wiig, Jane Fonda, Tangerine's Mya Taylor, Carey Mulligan and Greta Gerwig all have a go at the speech which Anthony Hopkins put to famous use in putting Jodie Foster's Clarice Starling in her psychological place.

This is the ninth episode in W's re-imagining series, with previous videos including a glut of famous stars reading their favourite lines from Gone With The Wind, an all-male re-enacting of Alicia Silverstone's Cher in Clueless, and Charlize Theron channelling Will Ferrell for her line-reading of Talladega Nights.
