The singer is picked up by James Corden on the way to the Superbowl

For the latest edition, he picks up Coldplay's frontman Chris Martin as he's heading towards the Superbowl, where his band will performing the half-time show along with rumoured special guest appearances by Beyonce and Bruno Mars.

Over the course of the drive, in which Martin and Corden sing Coldplay tracks "Adventures Of A Lifetime" and "Yellow", Chris also whips out a mini-keyboard from his backpack and the duet over a tiny instrumental version of David Bowie's "Heroes".

Meanwhile, while his gig at The Late Late Show appears to be going from strength to strength, James Corden has also been announced as the host of this year's Tony Awards, set to take place on June 12th.
