"He was, and is, a class act," said O'Dowd
Tributes have poured in today for veteran BBC broadcaster Terry Wogan, who died aged 77 after a short illness.
Figures from politics, television, radio and sport have all shared their memories of the Limerick-born legend.
Among them was comedian Chris O'Dowd, who worked with Wogan on his show Moone Boy and tweeted a touching anecdote about his kind nature.
