Thousands of highly toxic skin bleaching products are being seized from high street shops in the UK by the Local Government Association there.

Some of them contained a product similar to a paint stripper - while others had potentially deadly levels of mercury.

Skin lightening is a multi-billion-pound global industry, with hundreds of legal products available.

Mum of five Irene Major uses them and doesn't think there's a problem:
