Player sues creators of Fallout 4 game for being too addictive

The game also resulted in a worldwide drop in porn consumption

Since its release in November of this year, Fallout 4 has proven to be quite disruptive in people's day to day lives.

On the day of the games release, adult entertainment website Pornhub announced that the average traffic had dropped by as much at 10%.

While that was a more general issue, a 28-year-old Russian player is currently suing the games creators, Bethesda Studios, for making the video-game too addictive.

According to a statement released by the man's lawyers, he played the video-game for three weeks straight, which ultimately ended with the lose of both of his wife and his job, having called in sick repeatedly and eventually suffered actual health issues due to lack of sleep.

In a statement from the claimant, he said "If I knew that this game could have become so addictive, I would have become a lot more wary of it. [...] I would not have bought it, or I would have left it until I was on holiday or until the New Year holidays."

The case is the first of its kind in Russia, and the lawyers have claimed that they simply want to see how far they can get with a case like this in the legal system.
