via Coming Soon

Next summer sees the end of the X-Men trilogy that began with First Class and returned with Days Of Future Past

The arrival of the first ever - and quite possibly most powerful - mutant known as Apocalypse (played by Oscar Isaac), who wants to destroy the world as we know it and start again, all the remaining mutants including Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), Professor Xavier (James McAvoy), Magneto (Michael Fassbender), Beast (Nicholas Hault) and a bunch of newbies including Psylocke (Olivia Munn), Nightcrawler (Kodi-Smit McPhee) and Cyclops (Tye Sheridan).

Directed by Bryan Singer, who previously directed The X-MenX-2 and Days Of Future Past, this is the first X-Men movie not feature Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), and neither of the old-school version of Xavier (Patrick Stewart) or Magneto (Ian McKellan) will be about, either.

X-Men: Apocalypse will bring it's wrath to Irish cinemas on May 19th 2016.
