Susan Cahill talks with English philosopher Roger Scruton about his latest work, The Soul of the World, and his argument that the experience of the sacred plays an important role, even in the secular life. 

In the second half of the show Susan delves into Nations Under God: How Churches Use Moral Authority to Influence Policy and talks with the author, Anna Grzymała-Busse, about her study, it's findings, and how the world is still being shaped by the men behind the pulpit.
