Derby violence discussed Stuey, Dan McDonnell and Richie McCormack
Stuart Byrne says he's never quite seen League of Ireland crowd disturbances as bad as those which occurred in Friday's derby between Bohemians and Shamrock Rovers.
A minority of fans from both sides clashed in a corner of the field towards the end of Rovers' 4-0 win at Dalymount Park, which has led to both clubs being charged by the FAI.
"It's an awful incident. I've actually never seen anything like that before. I've never seen it get to that stage where you had supporters actually punching each other which is a desperate state of affairs," said Stuey, who joined Richie McCormack and Dan McDonnell to talk League of Ireland tonight on Off The Ball.
"But you have to realise you're talking about 4, 5 or 6 gobsh***s, absolute gobsh***s. Most of the Bohs supporters or Rovers supporters I would know are looking at this, going 'look at these idiots'. It's been let go for too long that fans are allowed to congregate in that area. They should be told to sit down."
