The Labour Party TD for Dublin West crunches numbers with George
Our new programme for Government contains some definite holes and this has led to quite a bit of confusion as to what motions are actually being put forward and why.
That was the general feeling today among Labour Party TD for Dublin West Joan Burton as she commented on the lack of costings and plenty of side promises being made to the general public over the past while.
Speaking to George Hook she said "the programme has, what I call, a lot of aspirations- in other words it’s a wish list , but it doesn't really have much in the way of figures attached to it’.
But is this normal in other countries or are we just behind in our planning methods?
