From the Archives: Great Scientific Discoveries

The London Science Museum's Director of External Affairs, Roger Highfield, is with George for this week's 'From The Archives'

It's the turn of London's own Roger Highfield, the Director of External Affairs at the English capital's Science Museum, to join George for a trawl through the archives.

Over the week, Roger brought to George 5 of the great scientific discoveries of all time.

On Monday, he told George all about Albert Einstein's greatest year.

On Tuesday, Roger filled George in on the Human Genome Project.

On Wednesday, it was all about Dolly the Sheep, as Roger and George remembered a seminal moment in trying to make cloning a reality.

On Thursday, Roger tells George all about graphene.

And Roger ends the week by remembering the Apollo Space Programme, and the US's space war with the Soviet Union.
