He's not omnipotent. He can't bomb ISIS, Syria or the Middle East at will

UCD's Lecturer in Middle East Studies Vincent Durac talked to George Hook today about Donald Trump's potential impact on the Middle East.

Donald Trump made a lot of promises during his election campaign when it came to how he would handle the Middle East, and particularly ISIS.

He said on multiple occasions that he would go in a deal with them.

Will it be this simple?  Is that what he'll do?  Does his impending US Presidency bring with it a lot of uncertainty as to what the future may hold for that part of the world?

Vincent Durac joined George Hook on High Noon today, and while he was clear that we don't know exactly what is going to happen, he did agree with George that Trump would not be able to just go in a bomb what he wants.  For one, he would still have to get through US Congress for that to even be a possibility.
