'Trump has said some terrible things, and we don't have to just accept it'

Senator Aodhan O'Riordain was bitterly disappointed at the Irish Government's reaction to Trump's election as President of the United States.

Labour Senator Aodhan O’Riordáin gave an impassioned speech at the end of last week, about the election of Donald Trump as president of the USA.

Aodhan has said he was "embarrassed" by the reaction of the Irish Government and repeatedly asked if the best we could do was ask "whether it was ok to still bring the shamrock on St Patrick's Day".

He also said that America has elected a fascist.

Senator O'Riordáin joined George on High Noon today, insisting that people have every right to reject Donald Trump, due to many of his recent words and actions.
