‘Times are changing but there will always be someone who says I’m big and disgusting but it’s good to be proud’

George meets competitors from the Mrs Ireland and Ms Curves contests taking place this weekend

This weekend Dublin will host the first Miss Curves Ireland and Mrs Ireland competition in the country.

Two entrants Fiona Byrne Keogh from Kildare and Rhian Thompson from Louth will both compete in the pageant on Saturday.

Fiona, who had a hard childhood being a ‘bigger girl’ and Rhian originally from Wales will have five costume changes during the event and will be in the running to receive a modelling contract with North/South Model Management.

Both ladies shared with George about how being bigger is beautiful.
