Is now the time for Martin O'Neill to experiment?

Paddy Mulligan believes Martin O'Neill should experiment with his selection during Ireland's forthcoming friendly matches against Switzerland and Slovakia.

It will be the first time the The Boys in Green will have played together since qualifying for Euro 2016 and one of the few opportunities to tune up ahead of the summer tournament.

Ex-Ireland and Chelsea full-back, Paddy, wants to see O'Neill test out some of his fringe players now in order to see what they can contribute at Euro 2016.

"I think he's got to experiment a little bit. I'm sure if I were Martin O'Neill, I'd know who my best 15, 16 players and who I want to start in France against the Swedes in the first game. What he should be looking for from now on in is somebody else to come in and put their hand up and say 'here, have a look at me, boss. I can perform as well.'"

Paddy also gave his take on the omission of Damien Delaney.
