McDowell carded a level-par 70 after round two at the Dean & Deluca Invitational
Graeme McDowell is just two shots off the lead at the Dean & Deluca Invitational in Texas, after carding a second round level-par 70.
McDowell got off to a worrying start and was three-over par at the turn. He double-bogeyed the third hole, and despite hitting a birdie on the seventh, his progress was further hindered by bogeys either side.
The back nine was much kinder, and three recovery birdies on the 10th, 11th and 14th hole ultimately left him on level-par at the end of the second round.
Meanwhile, Webb Simpson, Kevin Kisner, Danny Lee and Scott Piercy are in a four-way tie for the lead. Paul Casey and Masters champion Sergio Garcia are just one shot off the leading pack.
