The Monaco player is expected to pen a five-year deal with the Premier League side
Man City are set to sign Monaco midfielder Bernardo Silva, according to sources at Sky Sports.
The 22-year-old is reported to have already arrived in Manchester, where he is expected to pen a five-year deal with the Premier League side.
BBC Sport is reporting that he will officially join the club on July 1st.
Silva played a central role in Monaco's Ligue 1 title success this season, scoring eight goals in 36 league appearances.
He also showcased his skills against Man City in the Champions League and helped his side defeat Pep Guardiola's side in their last 16 fixture.
The French side were eventually dumped out of the competition by Juventus in the semi-finals. The Italian side will now face Real Madrid in the final of the competition in June.
He has 12 caps for Portugal, and is a product of the Benfica academy.
Silva is known as 'the little Messi,' and despite being voted Portugal's Breakthrough Star of 2014, after impressing for the Benfica B team, he left the club after playing just over 30 minutes of football for the first team.
