Arsenal take on Chelsea in Saturday's decider
Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny will miss this weekend's FA Cup final against Chelsea.
The Football Association rejected an appeal against his sending off in Arsenal's Premier League win over Everton on Sunday.
His ban means he will also miss the first two matches of next season.
Koscielny was sent off on Sunday's final day game against Everton after a lunging tackle on Toffees attacker Enner Valencia after just 14 minutes of play.
Despite the straight red card and being down to 10 men as a result, Arsenal won 3-1, although it proved in vain as they missed out on the Premier League Top Four by a single point as Liverpool won their fixture against Middlesbrough.
Arsenal also lost Gabriel Paulista to injury during the game with the Brazilian stretchered off and leaving manager Arsene Wenger with issues in the defence ahead of Saturday's FA Cup final.
Fellow defender Shkodran Mustafi had also been reported as a doubt for the final but is expected to be available.
Club captain Per Mertesacker was involved as a substitute against Everton and young centre back Rob Holding is also available after rising to prominence in the closing stages of the season.
Arsenal are aiming for a record 13th FA Cup triumph, while Chelsea are looking to win the trophy for the eighth time in their history and their second double.
