The Irish midfielder first signed for the club in 2008
Wes Hoolahan has been named as the Norwich Player of the 2016/2017 Season for the first time since joining the club in 2008.
The Irish international was bestowed with the honour ahead of his side's final Sky Bet Championship match of the season against Queens Park Rangers at Carrow Road today.
Hoolahan capped off the moment by bagging two goals as Norwich cruised to a 4-0 victory.
The 34-year-old has made 32 appearances for the Canaries in all competitions this season, and is their longest serving player since making the move from Blackpool.

A goal, two assists and player of season award for Wes Hoolahan today. He should be kept indoors until the Austrian game.— Daniel McDonnell (@McDonnellDan) May 7, 2017
