It's that time of year again!

Open up those wallets and purses as Premier League clubs have began what is the almost annual changing of their kits.

Liverpool have become the first team to release their kit for the 2017/18 season, in what is the club's 125th Anniversary. The kit will only be worn for one season, as the club celebrate the historic birthday.

The club claim the kit is a "darker" red than usual, but captain Jordan Henderson has unsurprisingly said he is delighted with what the club will be wearing at Anfield and away from home.

"Our 125th anniversary is a great moment for us all to celebrate our heritage and this kit really reflects that, especially as it features the anniversary crest – we’ll wear it with pride."

It may be the first kit released for the new season, but it will take something special to look nicer than what has been released.

The kit may give a preview to what the Republic of Ireland will be wearing in the coming months. New Balance are expected to become the FAI's kit sponsors in the coming months.
