A Scottish non-league team have scored one of the fastest ever goals in world football history.
Maryhill FC striker Gavin Stokes found the net from the halfway line, with the first kick of their match against Clydebank in the West of Scotland Super League First Division.
The ball took just over two seconds to hit the net, with Maryhill FC confirming it as going in after a mere 2.1 seconds of action.
A video of the effort has been shared thousands of times on social media.
Stokes fired a shot straight from the centre circle, with his shot arcing majestically across the opposition half of the field, sailing over the goalkeeper and finding the top corner of the net.
