The Bray star injured his shoulder last summer
Bray wrestler Finn Balor returned to WWE Raw on Monday night after an almost eight-month absence.
The 35-year-old was widely reported to return to television screens, and appeared as a surprise participant in the main event, on the night after WrestleMania.
Balor, whose real name is Fergal Devitt, was promoted to the main WWE roster last summer, won the company's Universal Championship before having to relinquish it due to injury.
He suffered a labum tear in his right shoulder that required surgery. He only returned to the ring last month, but was kept off television screens until WrestleMania was over.
Teaming up with Seth Rollins (the man who injured him at SummerSlam), to face Samoa Joe and Kevin Owens, Balor gained the pinfall to cap a successful return to the ring.
There is yet no word of who he will be pitted against in the coming weeks, but his return to television screens in such a prominent position will come as good news to fans of the Bray star, from Ireland and around the World.
After his comeback, Balor took to his Twitter account, to proclaim his long-awaited return.
