The striker looks set to return to action sooner than expected
Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has begun light training and is expected to be back in action sooner than expected after injuring his ankle against Millwall in the FA Cup.
Spurs went on to win the match 6-0 in his absence and will play Chelsea in the semi-final later this month.
Spurs' top marksman was expected to be out for up to eight weeks but may now be back in half that time as the north London side look to finish off a promising campaign in style.
Tottenham head to Burnley this weekend but don't expect the England forward to be ready for that match.
The club also have to contend with a couple of other injuries as Vincent Janssen is struggling with a chest infection and will be assessed before the weekend's squad is announced.
Longer term injuries sees Erik Lamela ruled out for the remainder of the season and Danny Rose's knee is still being monitored.
Spurs are currently 10 points behind leaders Chelsea who welcome Crystal Palace to Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
