Clare arguably provided the upset of the weekend with a 2-11 to 0-9 victory over Cork at Cusack Park.

Cork built up an early three point lead but that's as good as it got as a Cian O'Dea goal brought the scores level and Clare never looked back from there.

Jamie Malone scored a goal late on to seal a famous win and give Clare their second league win of the season.

Down recored back-to-back wins with a 1-15 to 1-07 victory over Derry at Owenbeg.

A goal from Emmett McGuckin just before the break kept Derry in the game in theory but they rarely threatened to catch Down as the match progressed.

Armagh hammered Offaly 6-22 to 0-10 at the Athletic Grounds.
