It finished Cuala 3-21 to 2-11 Slaughtneil.
Cuala became the first Dublin side to advance to the AIB All-Ireland Club Senior hurling final today, following an impressive win over Slaughtneil.
The result brings the Derry club's dreams of having three teams in All-Ireland finals to a halt, with their camogie and football sides already in their respective finals.
But the day belonged to Cuala as they registered a 1-13 to 0-5 half-time lead to put them on course for a stunning victory.
Con O'Callaghan's goal in the early stages of the game formed part of a 1-06 blitz from the Dublin side.
After taking an early lead, Slaughtneil struggled to respond once Cuala pressed ahead. And despite hitting a goal after half-time through Gerald Bradley, they couldn't keep pace with their opponents and finished the game with 14 men.
Cormac McKenna was dismissed on 51 minutes with a second yellow card.
