David Haye wants a domestic showdown with Anthony Joshua soon but wants his fellow Brit to beat Wladimir Klitschko this April.

Speaking to Sky Sports, the former WBA world heavyweight champion said: "If Anthony Joshua beats Wladimir Klitschko, which I and the whole of Britain are hoping he does, that will be a massive massive fight at Wembley Stadium so fingers crossed he wins that fight.

"After that fight, any time he's ready to do it - I'm ready. I've always been ready. I was ready a year ago. I'd have fought him my first fight back, out of retirement because I know I can beat him.

"Hopefully after this fight he'll have the confidence, his team will have the confidence to say 'ok, I've beaten Klitschko, David Haye is the biggest fight on the planet, lets make it happen," he added.

Haye is currently riding a three fight win streak which includes a stoppage victory over Derek Chisora.

Joshua is slated to fight Wladimir Klitschko in Wembley in April. The Briton has fought 18 times and has won every fight inside the distance.
