It's like the old saying - Beat the Premier League champions, have some cake
Chelsea strengthened their Premier League title bid with a 3-0 victory over reigning champions Leicester yesterday.
Claudio Ranieri's charges previously scored a scalp over title contenders Manchester City before Christmas but Antonio Conte's team ensured that lightening would not strike twice.
The absence of their resident striker Diego Costa, heightened the significance of Chelsea's victory and many suspect that the Spanish international is leaving the club to take up a lucrative offer in China.
Following the win yesterday, the Chelsea boss sought to quell the speculation about Costa's future at the club but not before indulging in some cake that he spotted someone eating in the conference room. The owner was happy to share some of it with the winning manager.
After enjoying that treat, Conte proceeded to divulge the facts on what is happening with Costa and why he wasn't with the squad for the game.
"If you want to know the truth, I am ready to tell the truth. On Tuesday, during the training session, Diego stopped because he felt a pain in his back and from that moment, he didn't train during the week and for this reason, he wasn't available for the starting 11 or to come with the squad."
"This is the reason, this is the truth about Diego."
