Team 33's Fantasy pundits Eoin Sheahan and Tommy Rooney share their first tips of 2017
After an inconsistent start to the season, Tottenham have shown signs that they could have a say in the Premier League title race one way or another.
Last week, they made an impact by not only ending Chelsea's long winning run before they could set a record but beating their London rivals 2-0.
Dele Alli grabbed the headlines with a double and that makes it six goals in his last three games.
But his Spurs team-mate Christian Eriksen has also been shining, perhaps more consistently overall over a longer period?
Indeed, Alli has picked up 115 points and Eriksen just four fewer in total.
And those kind of dilemmas have Fantasy Premier League implications as Team 33's pundits Eoin Sheahan and Tommy Rooney discussed on the first Fantasy segment of 2017.
"Alli did have that phenomenal run of six goals in three games. But he wasn't really delivering consistently before that. Eriksen was the man to go to before Christmas," says Tommy, who also picks out aspects of Alli's performance against Chelsea.

As for head to head stats, Eoin compared the Tottenham duo and the signs point in the Dane's favour.
"There's actually only a few stats where Alli is out-performing Eriksen in. In terms of the final third, touches in the final third of the pitch in the opposition half, Eriksen is beating Alli in that. Obviously in terms of dead balls, Eriksen has those and more key passes per game than Alli," says Eoin.
"Eriksen actually fires more efforts per game than Alli and slightly more on target as well but the one thing is that Alli gets more touches in the box than Eriksen and he fires double the amount of efforts in the box. So it's just his potency in the danger zone. If opponents are able to snuff out that danger then suddenly Dele Alli goes with it. So I think there's more longevity with Eriksen."
