The Real Madrid forward has also reportedly made a donation to help the children of Syria
Cristiano Ronaldo has urged children in the war-torn city of Aleppo not to lose hope and reminded them that the world is with them in their hour of need.
The Real Madrid forward took to Instagram to lend his support to those under siege in Aleppo, a city which has had to withstand relentless shelling in 2016 as well as four years of fighting between rebels and government forces.
"This is for the children of Syria. We know that you have been suffering a lot," he said. "I am a very famous player, but you are the true heroes. Don't lose your hope. The world is with you. We care about you. I am with you."
