Gurley has struggled to reach the heights of his 2015 debut season
Fantasy football is big business.
Whether it's in the NFL or Premier League, fans regularly put all their hopes on watching games, hoping for specific players to perform strongly.
When it comes to the NFL, running-backs are among the best performing players in everyone's team. Ahead of the 2016 season, LA Rams running-back Todd Gurley was one of the best ranked player in that position.
Alas for Gurley and the Rams, he has not had the season many would have expected. Last year, the-then rookie ran for over 1,100 yards. This season, he has yet to break through the 800 yard barrier, having played one game less.
Gurley struggled on Thursday night against the Seattle Seahawks and Missouri native Keith Stone decided to tweet his dismay at Rams star, which the Gurley public responded to, with words that are sure to haunt him. "Pull up then".

Stone decided to respond with a response Gurley could never have expected. He went after the star's record this season. Last year, Gurley scored ten touchdowns. This season, he has only reached half that story.
Been waiting on you in the end zone. Where you at? https://t.co/LoeqGavYDJ— Keith Stone (@CodyHasek1) December 16, 2016
What's the moral of the story for Gurley and the rest of the NFL? Maybe stay away from your mentions, when on Twitter.
