Chelsea defeated Man City 3-1 today
Sergio Ageuro was issued a red card at the end of Man City's Premier League clash against Chelsea today for a challenge on David Luiz.
The Man City striker kicked the Chelsea defender in a tussle for possession, resulting in the Argentinian being dismissed from the pitch with his team trailing 3-1 at the end of the game.
That will be a 4-game ban for Aguero due to previous ban. Misses Arsenal but back for Liverpool on 31 Dec.— Simon Stone (@sistoney67) December 3, 2016
Speaking after the game, Luiz refused to offer a comment on the tackle:
"I don't like to speak about these type of things. Aguero is an amazing player who does a lot for football."
Football fans took to Twitter after the game, to express their outrage at Aguero's conduct.
Sergio Aguero has history with David Luiz. He got off lightly last time... rightly shown the red card this time. pic.twitter.com/QBWjeuDe9h— Oliver Todd (@oliver_todd) December 3, 2016
That is absolutely disgusting from Sergio Aguero. Thoroughly deserved red card. This match has gone to pot. Disgusting. #MCICHE— Ayden (@aydenh94) December 3, 2016
