"Die like a samurai, don't chicken out please"
Earlier this month at UFC 205, Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov both enjoyed wins against their respective opponents in New York.
For McGregor, defeating Eddie Alvarez meant he adds the UFC lightweight title to his featherweight belt.
Meanwhile, Nurmagomedov impressed as he saw off Michael Johnson.
The Russian fighter has ambitions of a title fight in the lightweight division but whether he will be in line to take on McGregor when the Dubliner returns from an absence as he prepares for fatherhood, is unclear.
Nurmagomedov is upping the ante though by implying that the two-weight champion is scared of fighting him.
Indeed, he shared a screenshot of a message he sent to McGregor where he implores him not to "chicken out" and to that he "needs to fight me".
