Cue Card triumphant once more in the Betfair Chase

Cue Card has emerged victorious at the Betfair Chase at Haydock Park.

The 15/8 favourite beat Coneygree into second to win the race for the second consecutive year.

Trained by C L Tizzard and ridden by PJ Brennan, Cue Card won in a time of 6 minutes 22.72 seconds.

Vezelay was third in that showpiece race.

Elsewhere on the racecard, 9/1 Kruzhlinin won the Betfair Exchange 'Fixed Brush' Handicap Hurdle, finishing ahead of Theo's Charm.

The 5/1 favourite Yala Enki came home in third.
