Munster's rescheduled Champions Cup match against Racing 92 will take place on Saturday, January 7th.

The Pool 1 fixture was postponed on October 16th following the sudden passing of Munster Head Coach Anthony Foley overnight.

The rescheduled fixture will now kick off at Stade Yves-du-Manoir at 15.45pm

Munster were due to travel to Scotland for a PRO12 fixture against Edinburgh that day but the match has been postponed.

The Champions Cup organisers thanked both Munster and Racing 92 for their understanding at a difficult time.

"EPCR would like to thank Racing 92, Munster Rugby, the LNR, PRO12 Rugby, France Télévisions, Sky Sports and beIN Sports for their understanding of the tragic circumstances surrounding the postponed match, and for their collaboration during the rescheduling process," they said in a statement.

"EPCR can also confirm that the Champions Cup, Round 4 fixture between ASM Clermont Auvergne and Ulster Rugby at Stade Marcel-Michelin on Sunday, 18 December will now kick off at the earlier time of 16.05pm."
