Michael Hoey and Gary Hurley remain in the hunt to gain European Tour cards for next season.

Both make the cut at Q-School at PGA Catalunya in Girona on level par after Hurley shot a 65, and Hoey birdied the last.

The Top 25, plus ties, in Girona this week will be granted cards for next year.

That includes all players tied for 25th.

They will earn Category 15 Membership of The European Tour for the following season.

Hoey shot a 70, 67, 76  and 71 to make par overall.

Meanwhile, Hurley fought back in the final round with a 65, having previously managed a 74, 69 and 76.

Speaking after his round, Hurley told the European Tour website that, "The primary goal was to make the top 25, otherwise there’s no point in being here.

"I’ve given myself a chance now and if I can get back to how I normally play golf for the next couple of days hopefully I’ll be in with a shout on the back nine on Thursday."
