Their bout will take place in London at the end of the month
Katie Taylor will face Karina Kopinska of Poland in her pro-debut at the end of the month.
27-year-old Kopinska is a seasoned fighter with 25 bouts to her credit, including one against Christina McMahon - Ireland's most experienced female pro-fighter - in 2013.
She also contested the WBC Super-Featherweight champion Eva Wahlstrom for the belt recently before losing out on points.
This will be Taylor's first competitive fight since her disappointing opening round defeat at the Rio Olympics. But the 30-year-old still carries a wealth of experience from her career in the amateur ranks, including six European titles and Olympic gold at the London 2012 games.
The televised bout against Kopinska in London on Novemeber 26th, will feature on a card which will also see Tommy Coyle take on John Wayne Hibbert in the Super-Lightweight division. It also presents an opportunity to get her professional career off to a winning start before heading to the Manchester Arena as part of the undercard where Anthony Joshua will defend his IBF World Heavyweight title against Eric Molina.
