Milan now lie second in Serie A, two points behind Juventus
Juventus suffered their second loss of the season on Saturday night, thanks to a wonder-strike by AC Milan's Manuel Locatelli.
In a match that saw the Serie A leaders, play third place, if was Milan who moved up to second with a goal just after the hour mark. It was the first time in four years, that the San Siro-side defeated their bitter rivals.
Juventus were unlucky not to take the lead, after a Miralem Pjanic goal, was incorrectly ruled out for being offside in the first half. The Serbian international's free-kick was thought to have touched a team mate in the box, but it flew straight into the net.
The Serie A champions have now lost both of their games in the San Siro this season. In September, they lost 1-0 to Inter Milan, when Ivan Perisic scored the winner.
While Juventus still have a two-point lead at the top of the table, it is refreshing to see AC Milan challenging for the title, after three seasons, of mid-table finishes.
